We had our 25-year reunion, part 2, this last weekend. 3 other girls and I planned it. We had a lot of fun. We made it an old school style party. We had a DJ. We had a lot of fun. I drank too much. I danced too much (my thighs are sore). But we had a blast. We decided we should throw ourselves a party every year. I’m not sure we’ll do that, but it is a fun idea! It was nice talking to other people in their mid-40s. And seeing just how different we all are in places in our life. It is just a big melting pot. You have people that have grandkids and some that still have toddlers at home. We also did a raflle to raise money for the reunion. However, we all agreed we didn’t need our money back for what we each bought, so we doubled the money and donated it to the angel fund at the school we graduated from. That was pretty exciting. It actually made me want to cry.
